About Me

The background image in my webpages shows a small footbridge across a canal in Raglan, New Zealand. In 2007 I jumped off this bridge into the water while holding the hands of my two daughters, who were 11 and 12 at the time. It wasn't very dangerous,  but for them it was a bit scary. After some reflection, I realized this kind of thinking, scared of low danger, is what holds us back from so many opportunities.

The bridge became my metaphor for my approach to new business opportunities, new support for my students, and possibly being a cooler parent - although my kids will probably disagree!

What is your bridge? What is not really a dangerous decision but somehow you're too scared to decide?
